And so it begins...
Hay Seuss, i haven't even thought of this for awhile, but it's time to dust off the keyboard and preserve some summer memories I'm going to make this last season before college. Graduation is a week from today and I want to be able to look back at this good times I'm sure to have. Last week was a great way to start summer with sixth grade camp. Here are some highlights from the week:
1. Frankie puking and me being too stoned on NyQuill to help Jason and Sam clean it up.
2. Being enlightened by Old Man River who has zero patience for kids and is super cranky.
3. Meeting Brendon "Wierd Kid" Moore and watch him be himself.
4. Spend a lot of time with Amanda ignoring our kids by either sleeping, canoing with other groups, or just plain neglect.
5. Ninja-ing around on the cabin roof with the stealthy Sam Raeburn.
6. Itching Powder- Nuff Said
7. Ambushing girls instead of finding who killed Mrs. Stone.
8. The Finger Game- Finding out some crazy things about some people espcially Sam and his attraction to stuffed animals.
9. Me, Jason and Sam never waking our kids up for breakfast but they some how got up on time anyway.
10. The night hike. Absolutely crazy time. Sliding down steep mud hills, wading through knee deep rushing water, walking alone through the dark woods, and coming back at 3 am was definitly the best way to spend the last night.
Altogether, camp was incredible. I'm really fortunate to have gone and I'm glad I got to get some much needed bonding time in with old and new friends alike.
Hopefully there will be pictures in my album.

But i ended up running a 4:48 in the mile and a 2:09 in the 800. I have to say my favorite part was coming in second in the mile. That was sweet!
After prom was so-so. It started out good but went downhill from there. Now After-After Prom was where it was at. Ben, Tristan Boy and Girl, Jackie and Katie all came over in the barn and had a grand ole' time. Waking up to Jackie and Ben on top of eachother and Tristan's (girl) ass in the air definitly made the night memorable. Burger King in the morning was the perfect way to end the weekend.
, and scarey black people only help white kids if they think their gonna get some weed out of the deal. But nonetheless we made it to Scene Pavilion and were able to see the opening act, Hot Hot Heat. They were pretty good. I'm definitly gonna download some of their stuff. They just played a little too long. Then the main event! The Killers! I couldnt stop smiling when they first came out on stage. It was so cool to be that close to them but we needed to get closer so Ben, Tristan girl, and Katie and I all made it to the edge of the mosh area. But we still weren't satisfied. So i saw an opening and pushed the girls through. but we got seperated and Ben and I were kinda standing there next to an enormous kid. Finally i found the girls and made my way over to them but Ben didn't follow. So i'm jamming with the girls for about 10 mins and ben decides he wants to join. But he stepped in front of some ugly bitch and she flipped shit. She wanted Ben to get behind her black friends (black people at a Killers Concert? wtf?
) I thought some shit was going to go down but Ben was distracted by an old classmate. All in all the night was amazing. I'll always remember that night. It was sweet.
